We're here! We had a great road trip down... left thursday and arrived here yesterday afternoon. We did about 3 ten hour days and then yesterday we drove for maybe 6 hours... we spent saturday and sunday night in a town called Parkes, which is where the base directors, Ken & Robyn Mulligan grew up... we were split up into our outreach teams and stayed with different aussie families!
The Jubilee has been lots of fun so far. Last night we did australian bush dances! There are a bunch of people here from different ywam bases in Australia, and also families and individuals who have been involved with ywam in the past.
Oddly enough, it was very cold yesterday and this morning here! We all have had to wear jeans and sweatshirts... kind of a nice change :)
