update, update, update:)

It's hard for me to even put into words everything that is going on. Lectures each week have been very inspiring, overwhelming at times but I am constantly being reminded that it is a journey that I am on. Thank GOD I don't have to have everything figured out. Thats the beauty of it isn't it? That God accepts us even when we don't have it all together. We don't need to come to Him when we feel like we're okay/acceptable. God wants us to come to Him no matter where we're at. I'm learning that the key is to focus on God. Not to focus on the circumstances around me, not to focus on my fears, not to focus on my needs. What does this look like though? I feel that focusing on Him is something that He has continually been laying on my mind/heart. To actually do that can be a very difficult thing though. It is so much easier to focus on the things going on around me. Please continue to keep me in your prayers during all of this.

Things are still getting sorted out for PNG. Please pray for favor with our contacts in Port Moresby, good airfare prices, financial breakthrough, team unity, and faith, joy, and strength no matter what. I'm not sure what to expect on outreach. I think that is okay though. It will be really cool to see how God moves. I know that it will be a very stretching time for me but I am hoping to grow out of it and I'm trusting that I will. Please continue to pray for me and my team. For courage, faith, and trust in God as we continue to prepare to go and as we are there.
