Basically...
We are leaving for Papua New Guinnea on SUNDAY! This! Sunday! Crazy, surreal, and exciting! All our money has come in, our flights are booked. We are taking a bus (5 or 6 hour drive?) to the airport Sunday night and will be arriving Monday morning in PNG!
Over the next 4 weeks (ish), I will not have internet access. Please, please, please be praying for not only me, but my team, and my whole school as we're all in PNG during this time. Pray for team unity, boldness, clarity and wisdom from God. We need to be willing to step out in faith.
This week's lectures are SO GOOD. The big big thing that I am learning this week is that
every battle is won or lost in the heart. We CHOOSE what to "clothe" our heart with, we can make the decision in our heart to have a good attitude no matter what. So please pray for this while we are in outreach. Things may not run that smoothly all the time, or maybe we'll become overwhelmed with the things going on around us but please just pray for joy and peace and perseverence for whatever comes our way. I wanna see God move in a big big way and use us, and I want the courage to take inititiave and walk in His ways.
